Animals are among my favorite things in life. I miss bottle feeding of extra smart Yorkshire piglets from graduate school.
Some people are movie buffs. I didn't watch the Goonies until I was almost 30, but I could give you a summary of a specific Pokemon season as if I watched every episode yesterday. That knowledge of anime never comes in handy on bar trivia night, but epiphanies are funny things; what I considered the most original, edgy slang in 2nd grade were actually all quotes from The Goonies. 'HEY YOU GUYS' should have been sung out our grade school's Pledge of Allegiance. I grew up in an immigrant household were my relatives were being witty was part of the culture, so I lent the same traits to everyone at school too. Believing other people had original thoughts on the daily drove my creativity (and eventually photographic memory). It's probably the most positive outcome to come out of any mistake I've ever made.
I play Pokemon Go nearly every day. If you like gifts, here's my friend code: 9808 1126 8066
Sometimes I make art, but it usually involves several half-finished projects laying around my home at present. I spend most of my time looking, collecting, and donating to Kickstarters these days. Over 2020, a handful of pieces in my portfolio received a frame and were put on display a local art gallery. It's a curious feeling for a piece that filled your entire living room to feel small on a big blank gallery wall. "Army on Film" in particular had a big face lift. Frankly, it looks far better without that background that my high school art teacher requested in order to earn full marks.
